Rose Barbare
Bergamot, aldehydes, violet leaf — read like that it sounds simple. Guerlain Rose Barbare is not.

How it moves
The first breath is bergamot, aldehydes and violet leaf, and it is loud about it. By the half hour it has become damask rose, violet and peony. By evening it is amber, musk, woody notes and patchouli, and it is better for it.
Who made it
Francis Kurkdjian composed it in 2005, for Guerlain in France. Francis Kurkdjian's rose for the original L'Art & La Matiere trio sets Damask rose against violet and a dry woody-amber base.
