It arrives on sea notes, bergamot and myrtle — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — immortelle, rosemary and seaweed — and the whole thing slows down. Last to go: driftwood, musk, amber and cistus.
Who made it
Marc-Antoine Corticchiato composed it in 2016, for Parfum d'Empire in France. Named for the Corsican marine reserve, a mineral-saline composition of immortelle, myrtle and driftwood. A rare intelligent take on the aquatic genre.
