Fougère Bengale
It starts on lavender. It ends, hours later, on coumarin. Parfum d'Empire Fougère Bengale is everything that happens in between.

How it moves
The first breath is lavender and geranium, and it is loud about it. Immortelle, hay and tobacco are where it actually lives. The base is patchouli, Tonka Bean and coumarin. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
What wearers say
4 out of 5 from 1,800 ratings.
Who made it
Marc-Antoine Corticchiato composed it in 2007, for Parfum d'Empire in France. A fougère filtered through Corticchiato's horse-stable memories, with immortelle, hay and tobacco giving it a famously animalic, curry-like heat.
