Azemour les Orangers
Lemon zest and morning light, then bergamot. Parfum d'Empire Azemour les Orangers has a sense of occasion.

How it moves
It arrives on orange, bergamot, grapefruit and blackcurrant — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — cypress, orange blossom and geranium — and the whole thing slows down. What is left hours later is oakmoss, patchouli, musk and cistus, and that is the part people follow you for.
Who made it
Marc-Antoine Corticchiato composed it in 2011, for Parfum d'Empire in France. Named for the Moroccan orange groves of the perfumer's childhood, pairing bitter citrus with cypress, moss and earth. A rare citrus with real depth.
