Mûre et Musc
L'Artisan Parfumeur Mûre et Musc smells like orchard fruit caught at its ripest, with blackberry laid over the top.

How it moves
Up top: blackberry, lemon, bergamot and mandarin. Enjoy them; they will not stay. By the half hour it has become blackcurrant, jasmine and rose. Last to go: white musk, cedar and oakmoss.
Who made it
Jean Laporte composed it in 1978, for L'Artisan Parfumeur in France. Founder Jean Laporte's blackberry-and-musk composition was one of the first fruity musks in modern perfumery and remains the house's best-seller. It essentially invented a genre.
