Piment Brûlant
It starts on red pepper. It ends, hours later, on sandalwood. L'Artisan Parfumeur Piment Brûlant is everything that happens in between.

How it moves
Red pepper, chilli and green notes hit first, the way an opening line should. Cocoa, cinnamon and nutmeg are where it actually lives. The base is vanilla, musk and sandalwood. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
Who made it
Olivia Giacobetti composed it in 2002, for L'Artisan Parfumeur in France. The chilli entry in Les Epices de la Passion, combining red pepper and cocoa over a cool cucumber-like green. A genuinely unusual heat effect.
