L'Artisan Parfumeur Tea for Two begins with bergamot and star anise, and does not apologise for either.
How it moves
Up top: bergamot, star anise and ginger. Enjoy them; they will not stay. The middle belongs to smoked tea, cinnamon, gingerbread and honey. It dries down to vanilla, leather, malt and tobacco, close to the skin and hard to forget.
Who made it
Olivia Giacobetti composed it in 2000, for L'Artisan Parfumeur in France. A smoky lapsang souchong tea with honey, ginger and gingerbread, discontinued and reissued repeatedly due to collector demand. One of Giacobetti's most beloved works.
