Timbuktu
Green mango, pink pepper, cardamom — read like that it sounds simple. L'Artisan Parfumeur Timbuktu is not.

How it moves
Up top: green mango, pink pepper and cardamom. Enjoy them; they will not stay. By the half hour it has become incense, karo karounde and papyrus. It dries down to vetiver, patchouli, myrrh and benzoin, close to the skin and hard to forget.
What wearers say
4 out of 5 across 3,200 ratings — well loved, and not quietly.
Who made it
Bertrand Duchaufour composed it in 2004, for L'Artisan Parfumeur in France. Inspired by the West African wusulan ritual, Duchaufour's Timbuktu is a dry incense-vetiver-mango composition regarded as one of L'Artisan's finest.
