Safran Troublant
If saffron and rose were a person, they would be L'Artisan Parfumeur Safran Troublant.

How it moves
It arrives on saffron and rose — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — rose, saffron and milk — and the whole thing slows down. The base is sandalwood, vanilla and musk. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
Who made it
Olivia Giacobetti composed it in 2002, for L'Artisan Parfumeur in France. Giacobetti's saffron and rose milk composition from the Les Epices de la Passion trio, warm and almost edible. Long a cult recommendation for saffron lovers.
