How it moves
The first breath is aloeswood and incense, and it is loud about it. Then the heart turns up — white lily and jasmine — and the whole thing slows down. It dries down to sandalwood, musk and benzoin, close to the skin and hard to forget.

Who made it
Olivia Giacobetti composed it in 1999, for L'Artisan Parfumeur in France. Named after a Paris street near a monastery, Giacobetti's translucent lily-and-incense composition is a long-running reference for minimalist incense.
