Traversée du Bosphore
L'Artisan Parfumeur Traversée du Bosphore smells like sugar with a dark edge to it, with apple laid over the top.

How it moves
Up top: apple, pink pepper and saffron. Enjoy them; they will not stay. Rose, iris, leather and turkish delight are where it actually lives. The base is tobacco, pistachio, musk and suede. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
Who made it
Bertrand Duchaufour composed it in 2010, for L'Artisan Parfumeur in France. Duchaufour's portrait of Istanbul, combining Turkish delight, apple, leather and tobacco across the two banks of the Bosphorus. Rose-pistachio loukoum done properly.
