L'Artisan Parfumeur Mon Numero 10 begins with cinnamon and cardamom, and does not apologise for either.

How it moves

It arrives on cinnamon, cardamom, pink pepper, fennel, aldehydes and bergamot — bright, immediate, gone before you have decided about it. Then the heart turns up — incense, leather, geranium, rose and jasmine — and the whole thing slows down. By evening it is leather, benzoin, tonka bean, vanilla, atlas cedar, heliotrope, ambergris and styrax, and it is better for it.
