The first breath is iris, galbanum and cypress, and it is loud about it. Underneath, orris root, clove and sandalwood settle in and take over. What is left hours later is vetiver, incense, musk and benzoin, and that is the part people follow you for.
Who made it
Maurice Roucel composed it in 1994, for Serge Lutens in France. Maurice Roucel used an unprecedented concentration of orris to build the coldest, most rooty iris ever released. It is widely regarded as the reference iris fragrance.
