How it moves
You meet rose and pepper at the door. By the half hour it has become rose and geranium. The base is musk, honey and amber. That is the bit on your scarf the next morning.
Who made it
Christopher Sheldrake composed it in 2013, for Serge Lutens in France. Lutens dedicated this rose to the divided Berlin of his imagination, describing it as a rose with a thorn still attached. It is one of the few modern export-line releases to reach classic status.
