Muscs Koublai Khan
If cumin and coriander were a person, they would be Serge Lutens Muscs Koublai Khan.

How it moves
Cumin and coriander hit first, the way an opening line should. Rose, costus and labdanum are where it actually lives. Last to go: musk, castoreum, civet and ambergris.
Who made it
Christopher Sheldrake composed it in 1998, for Serge Lutens in France. Perfumery's most notorious animalic musk, built on castoreum, civet and cumin and named for the Mongol emperor. Its reputation as an unwearable beast is half legend, half accurate.
